Glass Hookah Downstems (1.0 Bowl System)

Description

The glass downstem is a replacement part designed to fit into the original Fumo bowl and downstem (1.0 bowl system). Newer hookahs use the 2.0 bowl system which includes the bowl, silicone fitting and separate downstem. These are replacements for the original 1.0 downstem system only. Please note which version you are using to place order. If you have a hookah before May of 2024 you will have this type of downstem.

The downstem inserts into and through the bowl to complete the interconnection. Once placed in the hookah the bottom portion of the downstem should extend about 0.5″ – 1.0″ inch into the water in order to make the hookah function properly. The downstem consists of an integral diffuser bottom, glass ground joint and a funnel bowl spire. The diffuser end is designed to reduce noise and increase cooling of the smoke. The glass ground joint provides a tight seal between the bowl and the downstem.
